Marriages

Municipal Court Judges are authorized by statute to perform wedding ceremonies. Wedding ceremonies may be performed Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. You must call at least one week in advance in order to schedule a marriage ceremony. In order to do this you must contact Judge Branstool’s office at 740-670-7842 or Judge Higgins' office at 740-670-7850. All marriages are performed in the Courtrooms. Please make sure to bring your marriage license and other documents obtained from the Probate Court.
