If you are unable to
appear on your court date you must send CORRESPONDENCE, a letter to the Court
regarding your request for a continuance.
You can email, fax, mail or have someone deliver the letter for you to
the court.
IT IS THE DECISION OF
THE COURT/JUDGE IF A CONTINUANCE WILL BE GRANTED. THE CLERK’S OFFICE WILL PROCESS THE
LETTER.

the ticket PLEASE PAY AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE. If you have tickets that
are past due, contact our office, speak to anyone in our office to assist you
with your balance due and how to pay the balance due. You
CAN PAY ANY AMOUNT AT ANY TIME! PAYMENTS
MADE USING A CREDIT CARD WILL HAVE A $4.00 FEE INCLUDED.
Driving on suspended license, with no insurance or
outstanding fines and fees will only cause more problems for you. Take time and be proactive, we are here to

Distracted
Driving Safety Course
For traffic offenders who plead guilty or are convicted
of a distracted driving violation, or a specific traffic violation while
distracted, this Ohio Department of Public Safety distracted driver course
is available in lieu of paying a fine, providing the offender pays the
total amount of the fine established by the violation and submits written evidence of completion and passing of the distracted
driver course. LOCAL COURT COST MAY STILL BE ASSESSED.
The one-hour course discusses what distracted driving is, who is a
distracted driver, cell phone distractions, the risks and consequences of
driving distracted, and combating distracted driving.
